Set of four images: Cyanotype (Sun print paper) : Size 8''×10'' : Cyanotype (Sun print paper) exposed by the sunlight on the time when the accident was happened.
Photography captures a moment of the past. Using sun sensitive cyanotype paper, I tried to capture the sunlight from the particular moment in time. September 11th had a global impact, however over the subsequent years the impact of the events on us has diminished through over exposure. By exposing the digital clock showing the times the 4 planes impacted viewers are encouraged to stop and reflect.
